Apple known for it’s technological innovation and Samsung for being ambitious performer, have given each other a fair amount of competition with their star performing devices, that are Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The battle began with both the companies launching their products with much hype. It was for the first time that Apple which usually resists changes except for the one in technical environment (where it successfully leads), took a step in the direction of change by introducing iPhone 6 Plus which was larger in size than its previous devices.

All the time Apple believed that as long as you are techie, the size of your phone doesn’t matter. But lately, Apple finally realised customer’s preference for larger size smart phone; that smartphone should not just be smart, it should be a style statement too. However the competitor Samsung had predicted this long before Apple even began to imagine. When it entered the competition, it marked its difference by the size of the Smartphone it introduced.  In the beginning Samsung move was mocked by many but their ambitious risk paid-off very well for them, giving them the first mover advantage.  Their best performing device Samsung Galaxy Note 4 became the face of competition. It is amazing to see how carefully Samsung planted the seed of desire for bigger smartphones in the minds of their customers and kept playing on the demand they generated by adding fuel to fire this desire.  Now you could see all other competitors running for the same battle, even Apple joined into it. The launch of Apple iPhone6 Plus itself was the mark of competition between the two industry giants.
