NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday issued the dates for display of images of OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) response sheets and the answer keys for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2017. The board also announced the time limit available to candidates to challenge them.
The CBSE announcement came hours after the Supreme Court ordered that the results of the NEET 2017 be declared by June 26, thereby overruling a stay the Madras high court had issued.
The images of OMR sheets and responses of questions will be displayed on June 13, 2017 and the period for challenge to it will be from June 13 to June 14, 2017 till 5pm. The challenge period has been reduced to two days instead of three as mentioned in the information bulletin.
The candidates can check the scanned images of their OMR sheet and answer keys by logging into their account using their ID (registration no) and password on NEET website. The candidates willing to challenge the responses of their OMR sheet and answers prepared by CBSE may do so by paying Rs 1000 per response/ per question. Only online challenges within stipulated period and with applicable fee will be considered.
