02.54 PM: TVS Motor Company has set a target of selling 10,000 units of the Apache RR 310 annually, which includes domestic as well as international markets. Seems to be a very optimistic number, given that the bike is positioned as a premium offering in the niche segment. The bike will be available in a total of 60 countries.
02.50 PM: The TVS Apache RR 310 will be available for bookings shortly while deliveries will start by the end of this month. The bike will be rolled out in a phased manner and will initially be available in select dealerships across Tier 1 cities. Pan India rollout will take place in the coming months.
02.25 PM: The TVS Apache RR 310 gets the soft compound Michelin Pilot Street tyres. The front is shod with 110/70 R-17 tyre while the rear gets a 15/60 R17 tyre. The bike also comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, which are similar in design to the TVS manufactured BMW G 310 R.

12.59 PM: The new TVS Apache RR 310 gets a race-spec steel trellis frame that has been designed with the help of Japanese automotive suspension and bike parts expert Kayaba. The bike comes equipped with Kayaba upside-down front forks and Kayaba mono-shock with monotube floating piston technology.
12.45 PM: The TVS Apache RR 310 gets a new vertically aligned instrument cluster, aggressive stance, on-board race computer, Bi-LED projector headlamps and split seats. The instrument cluster displays lap timing, gear indicator and on-board race diagnostics. This display makes it easier for the rider to read the numbers while pushing the bike.

We are moments away from the most anticipated bike launch of the year as TVS Motors is about to launch the TVS Apache RR 310 today in India. While the bike is launching today, we will get you all the live updates from the launch event. Ahead of its launch, TVS has been sharing the official teaser videos of the Apache RR 310 to create a buzz around bike. The concept version of the bike was showcased as the TVS Akula 310 at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The bike was recently spotted at the MMRT (Madras Motor Race Track), testing alongside the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM RC 390, mostly for benchmarking. Powering the TVS Apache RR 310 will be the same 313cc engine that also propels the BMW G 310 R. The single-cylinder, fuel-injected, DOHC, liquid-cooled motor produces a maximum power of 34 BHP at 9,500 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 RPM on the BMW G 310 R, while the engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission. TVS is yet to reveal the official engine specifications of the bike, however, the engine will be tuned to match TVS’ racing heritage. As far as pricing is concerned, we expect the company to launch the TVS Apache RR 310 in the price range of INR 1.70 lakh to INR 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom).
